What is a living book?
A living book is how we are describing the iterative nature of the digital release of Bunker Busters based on our communities feedback and interest and how the book will be periodically updated with new content, art, and rules adjustments digitally.
Why is Bunker busters digital only?
How many times have you purchased a core rule book or module for a TTRPG only for it to become obsolete within 6 months because there were balance issues, class changes, and more?
We hope to avoid some of that by keeping the book 100% digital until a later date.
Bunker Busters has been in development for going on three years now, and we have reached a point where we need more external feedback from players.
We plan on keeping Bunker Busters digital in PDF format and updating it for our players with new content, fixes, and other edits based on our player's feedback, until it is deemed worthy enough for a full meat space release.
Why Gumroad and Patreon?
We are a very small team of just two individuals, Gumroad and Patreon allow us to directly interact with our players in a way that facilitates the ability to release new versions of the Bunker Busters core rule book while also dealing directly with our community.
Eventually we plan to release a hard copy of the core rule book if we get enough support and when it's ready. Until that time, Gumroad and Patreon allow our supporters to help us keep going.
can I support Bunker Busters another way?
We may have alternative ways to support Bunker Busters financially in the future through donation.
Another way to support us is to spread the word about the game, and most of all, play it with your friends and family. We need your feedback and back pats to make Bunker Busters the best TTRPG!
What other plans do you have for Bunker Busters?
Based on community engagement and interest we plan on also releasing modules and story driven questlines for our players to enjoy, as well as hopes to implement a community created Jobs Board (Quests). We also hope to provide some mobile app based means in which to enjoy Bunker Busters.
These plans are dependent on the level of interest and the level of community support we receive for Bunker Busters of course.
